And other mentioned having had the same problem.

I must be extremely dumb since I never really did reset the rewind buton
when changing rolls (Must have been at least a few hundred rolls up to now)
on MY OM-1, OM-2n and OM-4Ti.

Have I just been lucky or are some of you in a little trouble with the
bodies that the rewind button does not reset when advancing the film for the
first time after eacht change?

I do check however if the big rewind knob on the left hand side of the
camera rotates when I advance film.
