If it as item is of any great worth, ring them and speak to them on
the phone and let the way the conversation goes be your judge. Trust
your instinct.
I bought my 90/2 macro SH from someone in Sydney when I was living in
Perth - (think LA - NY). I spoke to them on the phone and just knew
I could trust the seller, so sent a cashiers cheque. When the lens
arrived it was mint- as it had a fingerprint on it and was better
than described. The seller even threw in 3 55mm Hoya filters
including a circ-POL
