peel up rubber strip at edge, take out screws before prying open.

Is this a DIY job? I probably could do it if the batteries are available
with leads, assuming soldering is needed. I haven't taken the case apart
as there are no screws and so i assume one would have to just pry it
apart then reglue after repair.
