Local prices on Portra are also about $8.00 per roll. B&H current "dead
tree" catalog price per roll for 135-36 "import" is $3.39 and $5.75 for
"USA-R" which is the most expensive Kodak pro film (USA-R = USA market with
"pro rewards" and you're actually paying for the rewards).
Buy it in quantity of 5 rolls or more to amortize shipping cost. B&H film
prices are so low I stopped buying film locally unless there's a very
immediate need for something not in the refrigerator.
