Single-digit are 'pro' quality, and are 'system' cameras. Their backs can be
interchanged to take a databack or a 250 film exposure back. The OM- 3Ti and
4Ti are the only ones still in production. (Watch out for 'sticker shock').
It all really depends on what you want to do photographically and how much
use you want it to take, that'll determine which OM is right for you 'right
now'. (And your budget.) OM bodies are $50 to $1500, no kidding.
Read the FAQs, even search our own mailing list archives for old topics and
discussions, go to other Olympus realated web sites (produced by many of our
own list members) and stick around here a while, but be warned- "collecting"
Olympus gear *IS* - not 'may be' habit forming!
