EOS 620 was about 1988 - don't know about the Nikons. The EOS 600 series
were much more solid and reliable than almost any Canon since, so they
still sell for good prices. My son's girlfriend destroyed her EOS500n and
'lens' when she sat on it and she's quite svelte. Junk! :)
