I went out of town (Calgary, AB); off to the east, parked in an inlet to a
field on a side road and it _still_ wasn't completely dark -- all the
farmhouses out that way have _big_ lights out front. The glow from the city
behind me was pretty impressive, though.
Photos I don't know about yet -- took the OM2s and OM10 (which may have a
sticky mirror, but I can deal with exposures a second too long when they're
five minutes anyway..) along, pointed them at various places, various
exposure lengths; I'm very sure that there were meteorites passing through
the view of the lens, so hopefully I should have something -- I just don't
know if the 10-minute shots will look like lots of meteors or one big glow
yet.
-- dan (off to the local 1-hour place at lunch, though..)
