I hope to receive a lot more similar input so I can make up my mind.

A question though: what exactly _is_ a coffee table book (BTW: the flyer for
ordering the book indeed mentions it is a coffee table book)?

I remember the Seinfeld episode about Kramer doing a coffee table book about
coffee tables and thought that was pretty funny. Am I right in my assumption
that this is the type of book one would encounter in waiting rooms, or is
"coffee table book" simply a term for a specific type of book?!?
