Its interesting how on this list people complain about
the battery drain of OM bodies, most notably the 2s,
original 4 and 3; and yet when you look at digital you
see that batteries don't last 30 shots and require
expensive custom batteries or gobs of NiMh. Quite
funny considering a pair of buttons in my 4 can last 6
mos. to a year with moderate use. Heck they even last
a couple hours with the batt check on. I know since I
was taking a frive, the camera was in the neveready
case and the batt check got jarred to the on position.
Got to my destination 200 miles away and there it was,
beeping away. I am pretty sure the turn on occured
early on since I hit a huge pothole and the rest of
the trip was on nice smooth recently paved highway or
nice suburban streets.
