Browsing the esif, I just came accross the Olympus iS series.
The teleconverters seem interesting for the OM series as well.
Take for instance the iS/L Lens B-300 H.Q. Converter 1.7x.
This seems to fit into the 55mm filter thread of a 135 2.8 OM lens,
and make it a 230 2.8 lens, apparently with no loss of speed.
It looks too good to be true, so where is the catch ?
If you use a regular 2x converter for the OM series, your speed also halves.
Has anyone ever tried using the iS/L converters ?
Also, I would like to hear your opinion/experiences with the iS/L macro
converters.
It is claimed that they are better than the OM series.
