Please post your results, including the OM body used (if possible). I 
would be interested in your comparison. I go back and forth on whether I 
should buy a 180 f2.8 (I have the V S/I 200 f3) but feel the same about 
forking over 400.00 USD or so. Thanks.

You might want to consider a Tamron SP 180mm f2.5 in that group.I have shot 
many years with a Viv 200/f3 and it is an excellent lens.  The Tamron lens is 
just fantastic and quite a bit faster and has a super design and razor sharp 
glass.
