Older OM system lens only has 49, 55mm, 72mm and 100mm. The 55mm is
too small to fit into a 35-80/2.8 design and the 72mm is unnecessary
large. It is the reason why Olympus use a new size. 62mm is not an odd
size, the Vivita 70-210/3.5 and the Tamron 28-70/3.5-4.5 that I once
owned also use 62mm.
