Other folks have been answering this; I can't offer any improvements, so
I'll just say "me too". ...except to note that some photo magazine (in
Australia? My memory on the sibject is fuzzy) ran a test on the OM-4Ti and
said it survived the toughest torture test for dust they could come up with.
Someone remember the reference?
On another subject: You asked in another message about multispot metering.
The OM-3 and -4 series have it. Basically, there's a spot metering button
on the top cover. Press it, and the camera switches to spot mode and takes
the first reading. You can do that up to 8 times, and it'll average out the
readings and either give you a target to adjust the exposure to (in manual
mode) or set the shutter speed to the calculated value (in auto mode on the
OM-4). If you keep pressing spot after 8 readings have been taken, older
readings are discarded to store new ones. You can clear all of them and
return to centerweighted averaging mode by pushing a switch on the shutter
release collar. It becomes second nature once you've played with it a bit.
