Hello Shel, and welcome to the list. I'm pretty certain that everyone
on the list has a story about situations in which an OM has survived
where a wonderbrick has died. I'm an OM-1 owner, and I've taken it to
polar regions, deserts, rainforests and mountains, and it's survived it
all admirably. The dusty wastelands of Iceland claimed my friend's
Pentax thing after three days - my OM-1 worked as well as ever after a
month of it!
