Unfortunately, the 55/1.2 is an old lens.    Lots of stuff can befall it
during its long life and most wouldn't show in his photos of it.   
Notice he doesn't give us a "straight-through" shot.   He doesn't say
whether it rattles or not, and so on.    Typically, these are all SC and
go for around $200+/-, right?
