Dear All,
I'm hoping someone can suggest how I can solve a problem I've just
encountered with my OM-2S. I was using it indoors with a T-32 flashgun,
with the flash set to TTL mode and the camera in auto mode. I've done
this many times in the past with no problems.
This time, when I got the film developed, a portion of each picture was
black. This was on the left-hand side of each print (right-hand side of
each negative) and the width of the black portion varied from about 1/6
to about 1/4 of the frame width. The rest of each shot was correctly
exposed. It seems to me that the synch. is not working and that the
camera is triggering the flash at shutter speeds faster than 1/60 sec.
I cannot imagine why the camera would select such a fast speed because
I was using an ISO 200 film the ambient light was quite dim.
Does anyone know what could be causing this? Is it something that can
be fixed in an OM-2S? Thanks in advance for your help.
Regards,
=====
