I'm not really looking to see if I can get a macro
effect with my 24. I am trying to get input on trying
to turn my 24 shift into a 48 shift with a
teleconverter if that can be done. I don't want to
spend money first and ask questions later like I've
done occasionally in the past. I got stuck once with a
noname brand (CPC or something) 28mm that literally
fell apart (front element fell off in my hands!) that
I spent $100 for and only through threat of lawsuit
was I able to exchange the lens for a nice Promaster
28mm that I still paid way too much for since top of
the line zuikos are only about $70 used.
