The vivitar 2X Macro converter is optimised for 50mm lenses. When I owned one I
played with some
other lenses. As a macro tool it worked well on normal and moderate telephotos.
It did not wokr very
well wide angle lenses. It is to long a tube, on most 24s you will want to use
a shorter tube (like
the oly 7mm).
I never tried the macro converter with the 50mm macro lens, but it should allow
you to get REALLY
CLOSE. I would think that the results would be pretty good as well.
