Yes, they are slightly different. The SR44W and 357 are made to withstand
better the continuous small drainage current from watches. The OM-2S, OM-4
and OM-4ti do not turn completely off. They each impose a very small drain
on the cell when not in use. I get at least 6 months, usually about 9
months and sometimes upward of a year out of a pair of SR44W or 357 watch
cells. Next best are the plain SR44 (camera) cells. Shouldn't make any
difference with an OM-2 or OM-2n which can be turned completely off. Never
be without a spare set of cells for the camera!
