The Mint Museum in Charlotte, North Carolina showed 12 prints at the same
time the SF Museum of Modern Art did. Now they have their remaining 13
prints on exhibit. The first were truly worth the visit. I hope to see
the remaining prints soon. I had forgotten that a number of prints were
made of his negatives, some by him and some under his direction (and in
some cases following written directions). It is possible to be viewing the
same image in different parts of the US at the same time.

Speaking of Adams, for anyone unaware an extensive world-touring exhibit
of his work kicked off in San Francisco at the Museum of Modern Art. I
believe it's slated to remain in San Francisco through February, then head
off to wherever. I haven't been down to view it yet but I will, perhaps
this weekend.
