I completely agree that this should be what happens. Unfortunately, our "elite"
troops simply are not that good. Our movies & television tell us we are, but
we're
not. We actually were never able to find the actual Saddam and take him out
though
we tried & failed. And we won't have the ability to find bin Laden, and the
others, as much as I pray that we could.
As Clancy says, we won't even put forth the right level of man power into spy
intelligence. The overwhelming majority of intelligence personnel are in high
dollar desk jobs.
