What will you do with a Jobo processor and a scanner in conjunction?
Or have I misunderstood your email?
On that subject though, I am about to buy a Nova Trimate print
processing tank (slot type) for B/W prints. But I will upgrade to
colour if I can regain any sort of prowess with monochrome. On the
other hand, I still use my Minolta slide scanner for quicker
reproduction and printing of colour slides and negatives.

It is not difficult to obtain the equipment and expertise to process
your own color negatives. A Jobo processor and a film scanner would be a
great investment.
I have seriously considered getting a tank and assorted chemicals for
B+W film, since it is trivial to process B+W film. Color is a little
harder and I think best results are obtained with a machine like a Jobo
(assuming the macines are still being produced that is).
