Hello,
I posted a message recently about my OM-40 shutter speed ring being out of
sync. I just discovered that I also might have a problem in auto mode. The
shutter speeds just aren't consistent with the readouts in the viewfinder
display.
Simple conclusion for me : I must have the camera serviced.
So I went to my local shop and they told me they have to return it to some
central repair service and I will have it back in about 3 weeks time.
Now I'm leaving on a trip to California (SF and National Parks), where I expect
to take some nice pictures, departure is in 2 weeks time.
Problem : I just need my camera being repaired within 2 weeks !
Does any of the Dutch or Belgian list members know of a faster (1 week) repair
service for Olympus ? Maybe an independent repair shop, or should I try to
contact the central repair service ?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Please CC your mails to my private e-mail, since I get the digest version.
Thanks,
