I do it all the time Jim - use an Eyecup 1 with corrective lens
fitted. It gives me a decent enough view on my 1N or 2SP. But if I
forget to have an Eyecup 1 attached I merely use my spectacles with
the naked viewfinder.
Aesthetically though, I think that the Eyecup 1 adds a certain look
to the OMs, much like the decent hoods to when mounted on the lens
... and much like the silver-noses ;-).

attached. When changing film the film back cannot be open without having it
remove.
Having a diopter attached to the eye-cup 1 is no better than wearing my
glasses when taking pictures without the use of eye cup 1.
