A little problem I'm sure some of you have already encountered (I
have found it discussed in the archives) is how to fit a cap on a
lens already carrying a hood.
In my case, the problem affects:
- a 24/2.8 (with its metal hood)
- a 35/2 (with its metal hood)
- a 100/2.8 (currently carrying the 35/2.8, 50/1.8, 50/1.4 rubber hood)
For the 24/2.8, I have found a Nikon 72 mm cap that more or less fits
(not very tightly).
For the 35/2 -> ? Maybe a tupperware-style thingy, yet to be found in
the right diameter!
For the 100/2.8: I would be very interested in acquiring a 40/85/100
rubber hood. Anyone got an extra one?
(As for the cap, I have read somewhere that a 55 mm cap would fit it
quite well.)
