Hi Y'all,
I have done something similar, ending up with a 35-70 f3.6 and a 35-70
f3.5~4.5
When replying to Ric, perhaps you could include comments on the f3.6?
Thanks,
David Howells

Subject: [OM] Which 35-70
In my efforts to build my OM kit, I have acquired two 35-70 zoom lenses.
They are very different.
The one that appears newest is 35-70 f4 S. Zuiko sn 279xxx. It uses 55mm
filters.
The second is also 35-70 (duh) f3.5~4.5 S. Zuiko sn 154xxx. It uses 49mm
filters. It also has the words "Close Focus" printed on the distance ring.
It will focus to about 12".
I only need to keep one - must recoup some of the cost of the OM4
somehow.....
Which would be recommended to keep? I have use both and like them. Both
are about the same (nearly perfect) condition glass/f-stop/appearance wise.
Thanks for your help.
Ric
