Generally, the Vivitar Series 1 Lens is considered superior in both 
quality and finish to the Vivitar. You will also notice a big difference 
in price between the two. You may also wish to technically compare lenses 
(including the Series 1) by visiting Gary Reese's site

See Skip Williams excellent site (www.skipwilliams.com) for lens auction 
history on eBay. Many listmembers have found some very good bargains on 
eBay. [Some have reported unbelievable buys (sort of like fishing 
stories)] and, of course, there is Tom Scales very addicting web 
(www.zuikoholic.com) where you will find just about any OM SLR product.
