Actually my local guys turn them around in a couple of days! They send them out
to Kodak. I dropped my slides off i=on Tuesday and had them thursday. I think
it has partly to do with the voume a given place does. The place I deal with
works with a number of pro photographjers, so I sus[pect they do a fair amount
of business with Kodak. My guess is that the Supermarket does not send stuff
out every day, but probably does so only once or twice a week.
