As far as optics go, heres what I've got so far: Interestingly, it is the 2.5x image that is not centered, although by inspection, it is the 1.2x objective lens aperture that appears considerably displaced horizontally when seen from the outside. So, I am thinking I have a faulty varimagni, with probably a manufacturing defect. Maybe this unit was in a store, and staff or customer noticed the fault, and somehow it got onto Ebay as a result. I remember observing the same thing with the Varimagni finder I owned. Its normal.
