I just picked up a Vivitar Solid Cat mirror lens 600/8.0 off e*ay. Came to
~$245 with shipping which if I translate the currency right makes 199ukp
seem a little high. Considering the universal 500/8.0 seem to go for ~$140
brand new, I think you could get one of those instead. I'm not sure the
difference between 500 and 600 is worth worrying about, you can't really
hand-hold either one... and f8.0 is slow either way. This Vivitar is sort of
a 'cult' lens I guess, it goes with my 200/3.0 in that category. Olympus
qualifies for the fast teles, but the Zuikos are all 'cult' for me...
