I have a large range of 50/1.8 lenses; the protective horns on the 65-200 match
those on the newest of my lens ('Made in Japan' MC), whilst the small protector
on the 35-105 matches that on my earliest lens ('F.Zuiko' SC).

There
Æs one problem here, though. Unlike every other Zuiko I
Æve got, the
65-200 has something strange on its back end that keeps it from coupling
with the 2X-A. There are two protuberances (I like that word) that no
other lens has. For a look at what I
Æm talking about, see
http://albums.photopoint.com/j/View?u=135271&a=13487025&p=51881529. The
65-200 is on the right, the 35-105 on the left.
...
Was this lens made by somebody else for Olympus? Why are these
ôhorns
ö
there and on none of the other Zuikos? It
Æs a mystery to me, and I
Æm
de-horning the thing this weekend unless somebody can tell me why I
shouldn
Æt.
