Hmmm, whatever turns them on I guess!
Some venoms are particularly nasty and cause instant necrolysis (gangrene)
at the affected site. The venom can spread subcutaneously and wipe out a
large area of skin if the wrap treatment isn't applied quickly.
Reminds me of the scene from that movie Evolution with Duchovny where
someone is infected with a crawling insect that gets under the skin of his
leg and is travelling. They recommend amputation of the leg to which he
screams "nooo, not the leg, not the leg" whereupon someone says... "its
headed straight for his testicle" upon which the victim begs "take the leg,
take the leg!". Schoolboy humor but it made me laugh like I hadn't for a while.
