I tend to agree. I happen to have a good regular UPS carrier in my
neighborhood at the
moment and so far I've no issues, but with UPS you just never know. On the
other hand,
for this very reason I maintain a personal account with FedEx, a service
which has never
disappointed me--they're batting 1.000.
Speaking of UPS . . . a little parcel came round for me this morning.
Inside I found a black
OM-1n loaded with an etched screen by Hermanson. I haven't used the camera
yet (it's loaded
with Tri-X and I'll shoot around with it this afternoon) but I'm confident
all's well. The screen
looks interesting with those etched lines, though. While he was at the
camera body and the OM
screen in that, I had John etch another 82400 for me, and I've just
finished loading that into my
other OM-4Ti. What a beautiful match that appears to be, and I can't wait
to try it out for real.
What a pleasure it is to do business once in awhile with people so
competent--kinda makes the
food chain out here worthwhile, you know?
