This is Zuikoholics Central -- no such thing as redundant lenses here! <G>
The two of them in a kit wouldn't be redundant -- use the 100/2.8 when you
want that focal length and small/light, use the 100/2 when you want the
magic. The 100/2 has incredible bokeh, frightening sharpness and a closer
focusing distance than the 100/2.8. It's also very exciting to see that
wide expanse of glass on the front.
