I sold my 3.6 and kept my 3.5-4.5. Is the 3.6 a better, sharper lens. Yes.
Do I like the 3.5-4.5 better. Very Yes.
It is just so little and light and the pics are great.
If you're a perfectionist, keep the 3.6. If you like small and light, then
switch.
Or, be a good Zuikoholic, and own both.

Or be a _great_ Zuikoholic and get a 35-105/3.5~4.5 to go with the pair of
35-70's.
More seriously, the f/3.6 is the high end of the 35-70's with the trade
being size, weight and $$ for sharpness, contrast and a slightly brighter
viewfinder. If you don't mind the size and weight of the 35-70/3.6, then
consider also the 35-105/3.5~4.5 as well (55mm ring). Very contrasty with
execellent sharpness, especially considering it's a 3X with a high number
of elements. I was pleasantly surprised by it. The 35-105 has become the
lens used when changing prime lenses is infeasible.
In terms of lens speed, f/3.5 is 1/3rd stop faster and f/4.5 1/3rd stop
slower than f/4, so I consider anything within this range essentially an
f/4 lens.
