I owned the 35-70/3.6 and then sold it and got the 35-70/3.5-4.5 instead.
I've been happy with my decision, but it all depends on what you want.
The 3.5-4.5 isn't quite as "sharp" as the 3.6 (or at least that's what my
eyes see... YMMV of course!), but the lighter/smaller package is a joy!
So, my advice would be GO FOR IT! Or, as some of the addicts 'round
here say... BUY BOTH! :-)))
