I just use bubble wrap the lens and then the mummified package goes into a box
filled with styronuts. Those lens caps aren't going anywhere and no adhesives
touch the lens.

I'll vouch for Gery's shipping methods, BTW...he returned a lens I sent in
MUCH better packaging than I used! Made me feel embarrassed...
