Hello all.
I am very surprised, now that Olympus and other classic brands stop the
production and sale of a lot of lenses and cameras of the old manual systems,
that a company as Voigtländer brings us a manual lens as the short tele Color
Heliar 75 mm f 2.5 for the classic manual mounts OM, PK, MD, FD, AI-S, M42 or
CY/MM.
On the last issue of the spanish magazine "Foto / Vídeo" ( nº 154,
June-2001) the technical editor of the magazine, Valentín Sama, writes an
excellent article about this lens.
Sama is the author of some photographs, one complet text and a
technical test that shows an astonishing and wonderful lens with the "aesthetic
style of the old Carl Zeiss lenses for the Contarex cameras (the black
series)". The author (Oly OM knowing and some times Oly List member) writes
something concerning the good team of this lens and a 35mm lens with a light
reflex as the OM-1.
I don´t remember no e-mail to the List concerning this lens and I think
this is a god new, maybe a very good new because we don´t know if this lens is
the first of a series...
