Mike,
The 35-105 slide looks a little off because the slides don't go into the
mounts with exactly the same "register" or go through the scanner quite the
same. A couple slides ended up a little wide because I had to make
adjustments with the Vuescan crop. Another problem I had with the 35-105 is
approximating focal lengths in increments of 35, 40, and 45mm. This was a
little tougher with the one-touch than the two-touch zooms.

Thanks for the effort and good info. Maybe it is just my old eyes, but is
there any possibility that the 40mm shot with the 35-105 is actually a
repeat
of the 35mm shot with the same lens?
