that this lens has that certain three-dimensional plasticity often
claimed by Leica-ists. It's a particularly striking effect when you
throw one of its images up on a screen in a suitably darkened room; the
image tries to leap out of its frame. It's that "real" looking. I find
it a splendid lens.
