I've "hand picked" my own from a bunch of 50mm f/1.4 multicoated
(partial or fully) samples I've had over the last two years. Mine is
>1,100,000 and it's the best of any I've tested. Not knowing about
variations in multicoating before recently, and not having done a good
job ecording serial numbers of previously tested lenses, all I can say
is that YMMV. By the way, I have a 1,011,xxx and it looks to have only
a single green reflection element and reads MC.
