Winder bottoms are something that (breaks like) "plasticized masonite" if
there was such a thing.

| Thanks John, I've taken the bottom section off and the contacts have a
fair
| amount of corrosion, but fortunately the switch contacts are corrosion
free only a
| bit dirty.

| By the way, what material is that battery casing made from, I assumed it
was
| metal, but this winder has a lot of wear and it looks like dark brown
plastic under
