I guess that's what I am then. Had an old Praktika system in High School. In
2nd year university I bought a C*n*n Elan IIe wonderbrick and a 28-105 zoom.
Did some good photo with that but started to get frustrated with the cost of
the system, the size and weight of the body (the Elan is considered a small
body but once you add a necessary battery pack, it gets much bigger and
heavier), and the slowness of zoom lenses in general. So I started looking
at other systems. Eventually, the Olympus system just seemed to make sense.
It's small, lightweight, has a huge macro system (something I'd like to do
more of), has all mechanical cameras (wanted something that wasn't dependant
on batteries), etc.
