The type 4 has two pins side-by-side, while the type 3 only has one
that's centered. Therefore, it's physically impossible to use them
interchangeably.
Or am I missing something here????

P.S. I will correct myself, though... the Type 3 is for use with the OM-2
exclusively. I originally said it's for use with the OM-2 and OM-1. So,
the correct usage is as follows:
Type 3 = OM-2 only
Type 4 = OM-2N or OM-1N
NOW I think I've got it right! :-)))
