RE: [OM] (Fwd) Olympus C1400XL Digital Camera Smart Card Error

I had the same symptoms in a Olympus D340L digital camera. Sent it back to
Olympus and they fixed switch which tells the camera  that the 'card is in
position'. They claimed it was due to impact damage, which it most certainly
was not. Fixed it  under warranty anyway.
