Hi Dave,
Corel Xara has a linked colo(u)r feature that may or may not help with this.
I've used the program extensively over the last few years but this is a feature
that I haven't used enough to be able to say much about. Certainly you could
put a scanned or digital picture of a house on a base layer and create another
as an overlay to draw additions to it. All the shades used in the drawing can
be linked so that as you click on a different hue or shade, the whole thing
takes on the changed hue.
The only example I can find to give you an idea of what it does I've put on a
spare website at:http://www.keithberry.strayduck.com/Linked Colours.gif
It's a large animated GIF file and it takes a few minutes to fully load and run.

I am involved in a business which includes the sale of vinyl siding, soffit &
fascia. Do any of the group know of a software program that would allow me
to take a digital photo of a residence and then, using a laptop, show the
image and be able to change the color of the siding, trim, etc. on screen?
This would allow the prospect to see the change in exterior appearence of
their home. I think I could get the color codes from the siding
manufacturer (Owens Corning).
I could also more readily rationalize the purchase of an E-10 if such a
program exists.
