I went to get both 85/2 lenses to compare them, as suggested.....and I
couldn't find one of them. Panic ensued. Frantic running around the house.
Long thought on who I might have loaned it to. Jumped up and down a bit.
Then I found it on the shelf on an OM-2S.
Ok, sometimes I'm not so smart.
I compared the two.
118xxx, marked MC, reflects a clear pink color, with green highlights
205xxx, not marked MC reflects a brilliant green, almost universally
The break in formulations is somewhere between the two.
