Gary thanks
CAUTION: list subscribers who go here risk driving others crazy . . .
I thought that, as I left my chair on reading your post to dig out
the body with the 85/2 attached (OM1N), from one of 3 camera bags
(Billingham 206) from its current resting place (nearly under the
rear wheels of my computer chair: "I wonder how often, around the
world, an OM List member gets up to check a front element here, a
serial no there, an *Bay auction in the ether (not me btw).
Speculation (since I can't see the lens): your multicoating isn't
Olympus's characteristic green of the most modern production lenses. But
its multicoated, none-the-less. Aim it at a point light source (sun or a
light without a frosted bulb) and your see some green reflections among
other colors.
It does, and it makes it seem so much more valuable ;-). That's
called "cognitive dissonance" I think.
