The rain didn't bother me that much, it was the shortness of time. There is
so much to do, and I only had a week. I could have spent a month in each
city. (I'm sure I'd have seen some sun in London over a month..... ;-))
Glad to hear it Mickey. My problem when I go to London (I used to
work in the Ministry of Defence, the huge building opposite the
London Eye) was carrying too much camera gear. I eventually stuck to
an OM1n plus 28/50/135 with monochrome film to catch reportage
subjects, all in a little Billingham Hadley shoulder bag. I must dig
them out...
I've been shooting OM cameras since the mid 70's. Never have I had as much
fun with my cameras as on this trip! Even in the rain. It was great!

BTW, *nearly* serious question: what do you think GWB will think of
Europe when eventually he visits? ;-)
Come to think of it, where is the next G8 summit being held?
