Okay, OMer's, what do you do when you are in a photographic rut or
slump? I've switched from slides to B&W so I can learn printing,

short term, and that usually kick starts me. Any methods or
suggestions?
B&W 'seeing' is very different from color 'seeing'. I read somewhere
that cinematographers who are called upon to shoot in b&w often use a
dark blue filter held in front of the eye to get an idea of the gray
scale values and to get a little preview of how photogenic their set
up is.
